Bishop Lamor Whitehead (left) went on a 15-minute protest against the federal fraud charges he faces while sitting in front of two portraits of himself. Two parishioners were allegedly scammed out almost $100,000, many from a woman's retirement account, according to the so-called 'bling bishop'. Whitehead said that it was wrong for people to judge or accuse him after posting $500,000 bail and returning to his $2.8 million New Jersey McMansion (inset). He also warned his followers not to buy into reports of his suspected wrongdoings, insisting they were nothing more than half of the debunked theories that caused people to suspect him to believe he staged his own gunpoint robbery in July.

Nicki Minaj Calls Out Artists Who Copy Their Idols' Sound: "It's Irking the Crap Out of Me! "I think that is the best way to describe it."

www.popsugar.co.uk, October 19, 2022
Nicki Minaj is open about her current obsession with music. The "Super Freaky Girl" rapper spoke to Jada Pinkett Smith for Interview Magazine's fall 2022 cover story, where the two discussed motherhood, work, and the former being described as "sexy." However, Minaj was unable to help but voice her music opinions as well, particularly in relation to the sound artists' latest designs — and how it sounds all too familiar. "What I'm seeing now is that so many new artists are trying to become the person they looked up to instead of giving us a new flavour! And it's irking the crap out of me!" Minaj told Pinkett Smith that she did not know him. "I know I could see so much talent in any of the latest musicians, females, males, or whatever." But I'm losing when I see the person who is trying to be like or sound like more than I'm seeing.

Nicki Minaj needs no introduction, but being Video Vanguard at the 2022 MTV Video Music Awards is a prestigious honor deserving of a walk — or in Nicki's case, a strut — down memory lane. It was her first live VMAs performance since 2018, and it was only fitting that she led the party off from inside a Barbie-inspired dream house at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey, on Sunday night. This is the first installment of the Pinkprint opener, with "All Things Go" as the protagonists and a line fitting a Video Vanguard: "I had to reinvent." From her debut LP, Pink Friday, there's a fast rewind to 2010's "Roman's Revenge." Then fades into a cappella version of her classic "Monster" verse from the previous year.
