Personal life
Cross was born in Paris, France. Joseph Cross, her father, is a journalist. Flora is Jewish. She has travelled extensively with her family, most recently to France to complete her degree. She received her BA in Sociology from La Sorbonne University. She presently lives in Jacmel, Haiti, where she works as a tutor. Her two brothers, Eli Marienthal and Harley Cross, are both actors (Eli Marienthal and Harley Cross). Cross has attended French schools since childhood (Lycée française de New York) and is fluent in French, Spanish, and English. She migrated to the American school system during high school and attended a private school in Los Angeles' Westside. In 2012, she graduated from New Roads School. She graduated from La Sorbonne in 2016 and then moved to Haiti. She now has two children. She works as a Montessori educator as well as a soap maker. Yaquimel Savon, she has a small shop.
Acting career
In the 2005 film Bee Season, Cross appeared in Eliza's lead role, alongside Richard Gere, Juliette Binoche, and Max Minghella. She auditioned for the role in Argentina shortly before deciding to Argentina, where she was living when she was offered the role. "My manager sent the tape in, and then I was called in for an audition that was both long and exhausting," the actor recalls. "It went on for five hours." I was told I had been asked "the role two weeks later."
