Tennis players have been warned of the use of drugs to treat ADHD, despite concerns that some may use it to gain a competitive edge rather than fighting a true disease. The government that was charged with maintaining the sport has sent a note to all male and female professionals, reminding them of their role in treating Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (TDH). The letter, which was seen on Sportsmail, emphasizes that strong evidence - which may help with concentration - is absolutely required in support of any request for a TUE (Therapeutic Use Exemption).

After the Spaniard's suspension of two months for a drug for ADHD, Nick Kyrgios resurgent his war of words with Fernando Verdasco. Verdasco, a 39-year-old man, said he was taking methylphenidate as a prescription by his doctor to treat ADHD, but forgot to renew his therapeutic use exemption (TUE) for the drug. Verdasco has now been granted an exception by the World Anti-Doping Agency (ITIA), according to the International Tennis Integrity Agency (ITIA).
