Fernando Uribe Career

Club career

Born in Pereira, Uribe, was an Atlético Huila youth graduate. In a 2–2 Categora A away draw against Corretua, he scored his first professional goal by netting the opener; he was only 15 years, 3 months, and 23 days old; and Colombian professional football's youngest player ever to score a single goal.

Uribe, who was frequently used during his debut season, didn't appear in the following two campaigns and then moved to Categora B side Girardot in December 2005. He later moved to Corres, his only goal for the former club since being sparingly used for two years, when he scored the only goal of a home loss to Unión Magdalena on August 25, 2008.

Uribe returned to the top of the top tier in 2009 after competing with Deportivo Pereira. He scored eight times during the Clausura tournament, helping his team advance to the semifinals, Dienstag, a hat-trick in a 4–1 home routing of Once Caldas.

After impressing with Pereira in January 2010, Uribe joined Once Caldas. In a 4–3 away loss against Real Cartagena on his debut for the club on January 31, he scored a hat-trick.

Uribe scored two goals in a 5–3 loss at Deportivo Cali and a 3–1 home loss to América de Cali during the year, as well as a 2–1 loss of América de Cali.

For the first time in his career, Uribe moved to ChievoVerona, a Serie A club. On March 6, he made his international debut and appeared as a late replacement for Davide Mandelli in a 0–0 home draw against Parma.

In a 2–2 away draw against Juventus on 9 May 2011, Uribe scored his first goal abroad, netting the opener. In a 3–0 triumph over Modena, he scored a brace.

Uribe returned to his homeland and signed a four-year contract with Atlético Nacional on July 23, 2012. He scored in just his second match for the club, a 1–1 home draw against Rionegro on August 6th, and he had a brace against La Equidad on December 9th.

Uribe was on loan for one year with a buyout clause from June 27, 2014, at Millonarios. In a 4–0 home routing of Fortaleza FC, he scored four times on September 28th.

Uribe won by 3-1 over Independiente Santa Fe on May 17, 2015, putting his team in the tournament's semifinals. In a 4–0 victory over Envigado on the first leg of the quarterfinals, he scored a hat-trick as his team advanced to a 6–3 aggregate score. In the semifinals, he scored a brace in a 3–2 win over Deportivo Cali, but his team was disqualified in the shootouts.

Uribe, Liga MX's new striker, was officially announced on June 23, 2015, as their new striker in a three-year deal. In a 1–0 away victory over Tigres UANL on July 25, he made his debut on July 25th.

Uribe earned his first hat-trick in the Copa MX's first game on July 29, beating Necaxa 4–2. In a 4–3 victory over Pachuca on September 13, Uribe scored four goals.

Uribe signed a four-year deal with Série A. Flamengo on June 26, 2018. On July 19, he made his Laparo debut for the club, replacing Marlos Moreno in the 62nd minute of a 1-0 loss to S.o. Paulo at the Maracan Stadium.

In a 4–1 routing of Sport Recife also at the Maracan, Uribe scored his first goal for the club on July 29th. He did not gain traction after the arrivals of Gabriel and Bruno Henrique in the upcoming campaign, but not for the second campaign.

Uribe signed a deal with Santos, a top-tier team, on May 30, 2019. He made his club debut three days later, leading to a 1–0 away loss of Ceará.

After being barred from his service by the Brazilian Football Confederation, Uribe left Santos on September 18, 2020; the Brazilian Football Confederation ruled out the appeal for just cause, but the Santos were able to request a compensation fee if Uribe signs for another club.

Uribe signed with Colombian side Millonarios F.C. on January 18, 2021.

International career

Pablo Bacca was left in a 1–1 draw against Bolivia in La Paz on August 11, 2010, after Uribe made his full international debut for Colombia.
