Enoch Adeboye (born 2 March 1942 in Ifewara, Osun State, Nigeria) is a Nigerian pastor.
Early life
Enoch Adejare Adeboye was born in Ifewara, near Ife, in the then Southern Region, British Nigeria. He was born to a very poor family.
Education
In 1956, Enoch Adejare Adeboye began his education at Ilesha Grammar School, Ilesha Osun State. Enoch Adeboye then enrolled in University of Nigeria Nsukka (UNN), but he did not complete his first degree in Nsukka until the Nigeria Civil War, but Obafemi Awolowo University gave him a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics in 1967. Foluke Adenike was married in the same year as Foluke Adenike. They have four children, Adeolu Adeboye, Bolu Adubi (née Adeboye), Dare Adeboye, and Leke Adeboye. He obtained a Master's degree in Hydrodynamics from the University of Lagos in 1969. He obtained a Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from the University of Lagos in 1975.
Personal life
Folu Adeboye was married on December 17, 1967. He is a father to four children (three sons and a daughter) as well as several grandchildren from the marriage. Dare Adeboye, a young boy who died at the age of 42, was killed by Pastor Enoch Adeboye on May 4th, 2021.
