It comes after the UFC Gym Australia (right) brand collapsed in May, following a brutal court decision that ordered the owners to pay over $5 million back to disgruntled franchisees. On May 23, a group of parent companies for UFC Gym Australia, a mixed martial arts gym franchise established in 2009 with fitness centers in Sydney, Melbourne, Perth, and the Gold Coast, went into voluntary administration. The demise of the Macarthur Square gym marks the seventh branch of the UFC Gym brand to join or leave the company in the past six months.
