Elvis Sinosic Career

Mixed martial arts career

Sinosic fought on the first ever Australian MMA exhibition, Caged Combat, considered by some to be a pioneer of Australian mixed martial arts. Mr Sinosic competed for and won the first ever Australian MMA title, the Australian Vale Tudo Heavyweight Championship. He was also the first Australian to fight for a nominal World title (Universal Combat Challenge 1 vs. Dave Beneteau), and the first Australian to compete in a MMA match in K-1 when he lost at the K-1 World Grand Prix 2000 vs. Frank Shamrock. Mr Sinosic was also the first Australian to fight in the UFC – UFC 30 vs. Jeremy Horn, his first winning appearance with the team, where he was the first Australian to compete for a UFC World Championship (UFC 32 in a loss vs. Tito Ortiz). When he first registered in the ADCC World Submission Wrestling Championships in 1998, Sinosic was also the first Australian to qualify in the inaugural competition before being rejected by Renato Verissimo.

Sinosic is a UFC veteran with a history of 1 win and 6 losses in the UFC, at a time when it was the most disappointing figure in recent history, contributing to the 8 wins, 12 losses, and 2 draws in his mixed martial arts career. Mr Sinosic won by armbar at UFC 30, which was a major surprise at the time, and he was then given a match with Tito Ortiz, then the UFC Light Heavyweight Champion of UFC 32. Ortiz defeated Sinosic in the first round by a technical knockout (TKO).

He appeared at least three times in the UFC, including matches against Evan Tanner (TKO loss), Renato Sobral (decision loss), Forrest Griffin (KO loss), and Alessio Sakara (decision loss) at UFC 57. He defeated regional fighters Shamoji Fuiji and Mark Epstein both by armbar after a difficult time with the UFC.

Michael Bisping's last fight in the UFC was a loss to him due to TKO (strikes) at UFC 70. He was due to return to the octagon in 2010 for a rematch against Chris Haseman at UFC 110, the first UFC event to be held in Australia. However, Sinosic was forced to leave due to a shoulder injury only days before the war. Sinosic was permanently suspended from the service after what seemed to be an elective surgical procedure that would not have barred him from competing against Haseman.

On December 1, 2007, Sinosic's last combat was a KO loss to Paul Cahoon at Cage Rage 24.

Political career

Sinosic was a "endorsed" candidate for Blaxland by the United Australia Party in 2022 (Electorate in Sydney).

When the 2022 Australian Federal Elections began, the United Australia welcomed Mr Sinosic with open arms. Multiple news outlets had reported that United Australia/Clive Palmer's party would run in every electorate in the federal election, and the list of candidates is populated with anti-vaccination and anti-lockdown campaigners.

According to Google's transparency report, three out of every four video advertisements posted on YouTube since late September have been suspended by Google for reportedly violating advertisement policies.

Chinasic has made public remarks relating to the disinformation that has come from the United Australia party, such as "we all make mistakes."

Elvis was arrested and charged with breaching public health laws in Sydney, NSW, on August 23, 2021. The Daily Telegraph published an article announcing that Elvis had been arrested and charged for violating public health laws. "Custody of a knife in public place" was charged with Sinosic, according to the journal, "Not complying with COVID-2021-22)" is quoted. Mr Sinosic appeared in 2022 and was arrested for the alleged murder(s).

Professional wrestling career

Elvis Sinosic, a former UFC fighter, made his professional wrestling debut at All-Star Wrestling Australia.

The UFC Gym Australia chain in Sydney has fallen into liquidation after $1.2 million

www.dailymail.co.uk, August 9, 2023
A month ago, UFC Macarthur Square (left), based in Sydney's south-west, went into liquidation, with all workers sacked a few days later. It comes after the UFC Gym Australia (right) brand collapsed in May, following a brutal court decision that ordered the owners to pay over $5 million back to disgruntled franchisees. On May 23, a group of parent companies for UFC Gym Australia, a mixed martial arts gym franchise established in 2009 with fitness centers in Sydney, Melbourne, Perth, and the Gold Coast, went into voluntary administration. The demise of the Macarthur Square gym marks the seventh branch of the UFC Gym brand to join or leave the company in the past six months.
