Club career
Riascos joined Shanghai Shenhua on loan from América de Cali on February 1, 2010. In a 0–2 away loss to Changsha Ginde on March 27, Riascos made his Chinese Super League debut on March 27th. In a 2–1 away win over Nanchang Bayi on April 3rd, he scored his first goal for Shanghai on his second appearance. In the 2010 Chinese Super League season, Riascos received the Golden Boot Award after scoring 20 goals in 28 appearances.
On July 8, 2011, Duvier was loaned to Mexican Primera División club Puebla. Riascos made his Puebla debut against Atlas on July 23, 2011 against whom he came in as a sub in the second half playing only 22 minutes. In minute 21, winning 2–0, Riascos scored his first goal as a starter in minutes 21 defeating Pachuca tied the game 2–2. Riascos had a good season in 16 games before being sold to Tijuana.
Cruzeiro signed Riascos on a three-year deal on January 16, 2015.
Riascos signed with Dalian Yifang for one and a half years on a free transfer from Vasco Da Gama on June 21, 2018. His physical fitness was not optimal throughout the year and has received a lot of flak, but he did a good job to keep Dalian Yifang from relegation in the last league match.
