Dmitry Shishkin (born 12 February 1992, is a Russian classical pianist.
He is best known for winning the 5th International Nutcracker Television Competition for Young Musicians.Shishkin was born in Chelyabinsk.
He was awarded 6th prize at the XVIIth International Chopin Piano Competition in 2015.
In 2018 he won 1st prize at the Geneva International Music Competition.

Career
Irina Shishkina, a teacher and pianist born in Chelyabinsk on February 12, 1992, was his first piano tutor. He could already play short works, gave his first concert at the age of three, and appeared with an orchestra three years later.
He attended the Pyotr Tchaikovsky School in his hometown from the age of four. He attended the Gnessin State Musical College in Moscow, where he studied with Mikhail Khokhlov for five years. Eliso Virsaladze has been studying at the Moscow Conservatory since 2010. He appeared in Tchaikovsky's Piano Concerto No. 1 in the same year.
