Career

Werkheiser and his mother moved to Los Angeles to pursue his acting career after landing a minor role in We Were Soldiers. In 2003, he appeared as Max Korda in the TV film Recipe for Disaster. Werkheiser has had several television and film roles, the most notable of which is Ned Bigby's Declassified School Survival Guide, since his arrival in Hollywood. Werkheiser lent his voice to films including: Casper the Friendly Ghost, Casper's Shadow, Casper's Shadow, and Good Dragon and Krudd's Wizzard as the voice of Gordo.

Werkheiser appeared in a Nickelodeon film based on Wendelin Van Draanen's Shredderman book series Nolan Byrd/Shredderman. In Paradise's first film Christmas, Werkheiser appeared as Chris Marino. In 2009, Werkheiser appeared as Victor in the film The First Time. Victor, who has an incurable crush on hot senior Anya, who is way out of his league and has no idea he exists, has played him. He appeared in the film The Prankster, in which he appeared as Brad Burris.
