Early life
Youssef was born in the Queens borough of New York City, Egypt, to Egyptian parents, and later raised in New Jersey. His father became the boss of the Plaza Hotel in New York City ten years after immigrating from Egypt. He grew up in a Muslim household, observeding Islamic holidays, and has continued to practice Islam. Youssef, a student at Rutherford High School, was raised in Rutherford, New Jersey. He began studying political science and economics at Rutgers University, Newark, but he left early to enroll at William Esper Studio.
Career
In which he appeared on the Nick at Nite sitcom See Dad Run, youssef made his acting debut on the Nick at Nite sitcom See Dad Run, in which he had a principal role.
