Danny Dyer Life

Daniel John Dyer (born 24 July 1977) is an English actor who has appeared on television, film, and theatre.

Dyer's breakthrough came as Moff in Human Traffic, as Billy the Lime in Mean Machine, and as Tommy Johnson in The Football Factory.

Following the success of The Football Factory, Dyer was often stereotyped in "hard-man" roles, but it was this image that allowed him to debut The Real Football Factories International, Danny Dyer's Deadliest Men, and Danny Dyer's Deadliest Men.

Dyer has worked in theatre, having appeared in three plays directed by Harold Pinter, with whom he had a close friendship. In 2013, he was announced as the latest addition to the cast of EastEnders, playing Mick Carter, the Queen Victoria's most recent landlord.

He had previously turned down a role in 2009, and Straight Up, his autobiography, said he would not join the cast until he was "fat, bald, and fifty."

He received the Serial Drama Performance Award at the National Television Awards in 2015, 2016, and 2019. He has also performed Kent Paul for the Grand Theft Auto gaming franchise, specifically GTA Vice City and GTA San Andreas; Stuart Heritage in The Guardian wrote that Dyer has "become the byword for low-budget, no-quality British-trash cinema."

Early life

Danial John Dyer was born in London's Custom House neighborhood on July 24, 1977, the son of Christine (née Meakin) and Antony Dyer. Tony (born 1979) and his sister, Kayleigh (born 1986). His parents split up when he was nine years old, and his mother was raised in Custom House. He started acting as a child, and his classmates mocked him so badly that he lied about attending acting classes.

Dyer's family roots were chronicled in a Series 13 episode of the BBC genealogy series Who Do You Think You Are? where it was revealed that his family roots are from London's Poplar neighborhood. According to census results, many of them were employed in manual occupations related to the River Thames docks. Dyer is a descendant of Thomas Cromwell and Elizabeth Seymour, Elizabeth Seymour, the sister of Henry VIII's third wife Jane Seymour, according to new sources. Catherine married Cromwell's son Gregory Cromwell, and the Seymour family's claim that Edward III (Dyer's 25th generation ancestor) can be traced back to William the Conqueror and Charlemagne. Geneticist Adam Rutherford argued that an English person descended from a Plantagenet king was "not surprising," implying that "almost every British" can claim such descent.

Personal life

Dyer lives in Debden, Essex. He began dating Joanne Mas in 1992, but they separated after the birth of their first child, future television presenter Dani Dyer, in 1996; they began dating other people, but soon began an affair with each other and decided to reconcile. After she proposed to him in March 2015, they married on September 3rd, 2016. They also have another daughter and a boy.

Dyer has been open about his drug use. "I've always used drugs and I probably will," he said in his autobiography, but there's a difference between having the odd crafty boost on a job well done and allowing it to rule your life." Since he claims that banning cocaine hasn't worked, he has advocated for the legalization of the drug.

Dyer, a lifelong football player and follower, supports West Ham United FC. He became the chairman of Kent County's Greenwich Borough FC in December 2007, a fellow actor Tamer Hassan, president of the football club. "I just love football, and the possibility of being involved with a club is like a dream come true," he said. The appointment was actually a publicity stunt to lift the club's profile.

Dyer went to Sierra Leone in 2016 to participate in Sport Relief. "I don't know what to expect if I go over there," he said, but I'm hoping that it would make a difference." It's a privilege to be asked."

Straight Up, Dyer's autobiography, was released in 2011. Danny Dyer's World According to Danny Dyer: Life Lessons from the East End, he published another autobiography in 2016.

The East London-born actor, these days best known for playing Mick Carter in Eastenders (pictured bottom left) and previously for a string of roles in gangster and football hooligan flicks, trades in his folded up newspaper brick for a 1980s-style mobile phone as he portrays an electronics businessman extraordinaire in a performance viewers have branded 'fantastic' (bottom centre).
