Damien Fahey Life

Damien Richard Fahey (born June 1, 1980) is a writer and voice actor for Family Guy, radio DJ, television host, former MTV VJ, and drummer.

After Daly left the network to host his own late-night show on NBC, Carson Daly took over as the host of MTV's Total Request Live in 2002.

Craig Kilborn left immediately and was expected to be one of the four finalists for the permanent role, according to Fahey.

Early life

Fahey was interested in radio from a young age, purchasing radio equipment, and establishing a mock radio station in his teen bedroom. Fahey, a 15-year-old student at 94.7 WMAS in Springfield, Massachusetts, earned an internship and on-air DJ work.

Fahey started in 1999 and majored in communications, and he excelled in electronics. After being hired by MTV, he left Northeastern in 2002.

Personal life

When Fahey and his then-wife, Gracie Mercedes, first met while watching MTV in 2003, they didn't start dating until many years later. The pair were married in Camarillo, California, on June 28, 2013.

Career

Fahey served at 94.7 WMAS for many years before becoming a DJ at Kiss 108 in Boston. Fahey worked there until he started working with MTV in 2002.

Fahey, a former radio DJ on 104.3 MYfm in Los Angeles, California, where he began in 2012.

After Daly left the network to host his own late-night show on NBC, Fahey replaced Carson Daly as the host of MTV's Total Request Live in 2002. Fahey hosted Total Request Live until the show's cancellation in 2008.

Craig Kilborn unexpectedly departed and was supposed to be one of the four finalists for the permanent role in 2004, but Fahey was a guest host on CBS' The Late Late Show in 2004.

Fahey hosted "Get Me Out of Here," a single season of NBC's I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here in 2009, and later hosted The Morning Aftermo from 2012 to 2014.

Fahey performed on occasion for Family Guy in 2007. He began writing for Family Guy in 2015. In 2016, Fahey's first full writing credit for his book "Run Chris Run" was given. In 2017, he went from co-producer to supervising producer, and then began presenting episodes of Family Guy.
