Criss Scortezz (pictured) a Sydney makeup artist who was struggling with an alcohol dependence amid Covid's Cofferlock lockdown has recalled how he gained 50 kilograms and invested thousands of dollars in savings while struggling with an alcohol addiction. He said he'd tell himself a series of lies and excuses to justify his drinking. The 25-year-old would drink 2L of spirits daily out of 'boredom' and never questioned his behavior. By September, it would be time for him to awakene, roll out of bed, and pour a glass of coffee at 8 a.m. Criss, now 25, said his attitude and 'craving' for alcohol had complete control over the situation, and he couldn't go about his day without having a drink.
