Colin Alexander Cunningham (born 1966) is an American television and film actor.

Cunningham is best known for his appearances in TNT science fiction film Falling Skies and as Major Paul Davis on Stargate SG-1.

Career

Cunningham began his acting career when he was encouraged by a friend to audition for a role in a public casting call. He was a member of the Open Fist Theatre Company and spent time at the Vancouver Film School studying directing.

He appeared on Stargate SG-1 as USAF Major Paul Davis (15 episodes). In Da Vinci's Inquest, Brian Curtis, a crooked cop, was another prominent role. In the 2006 sequel series, Brian Curtis, he reprises his role in Da Vinci's City Hall. In the short-lived jPod and several episodes of The L Word, he appeared as Steven Lefkowitz. Other appearances include the Canadian series Flashpoint and in Sanctuary, where he portrays Henry Foss's husband, a biologist friend. He is best known for his role as John Pope on Falling Skies.

In the Syfy film Blood Drive, Julian Slink also earned critical acclaim as Master of Ceremonies.

In the 2000 film Elektra, he starred as Tripp, an anti-clone protester, and as the character McCabe.

Centigrade, a contemporary thriller, was written, directed, and starring. It was the recipient of the 2007 Kick Start Award and made the Academy Award Nomination in 2008.

In addition to acting, he has produced numerous music videos for Country Music Television (CMT). He plays tenor saxophone and is the band leader of the funk/soul band WHAT-THE-FUNK!, which was founded in 2013.
