Clayton Stanley (1978) is an American volleyball player who competes for the United States national volleyball team, a member of the Olympic Games (Athens 2004, Beijing 2012), Olympic Champion 2008, multimedalist of the World League, 2005.

Personal life

Stanley was born in Honolulu, Hawaii, to Jon Stanley and Sandra Haine. He has three brothers (Reese Haine, Wil Stanley, and Jon Stanley), as well as two sisters (Taeya Stanley and Natasha Haine). Volley players Tom Haine, his parents, and his grandfather Tom Haine were volleyball players. His mother and grandfather represented Canada, while father Jon represented the United States. Stanley's father appeared at the 1968 Olympic Games and is a member of the Volleyball Hall of Fame. Tom Haine, Stanley's step-grandfather, was also on the 1968 Olympic volleyball team. Sandra Haine's mother, as well as Canada's national team, played for the Denver Comets and elsewhere. Stanley and his father became the first father-son Olympians in USA volleyball history after watching him in Athens, Greece.

Kristin Jackson married him in July 2013. (née Jackson) They revealed in March 2014 that they were expecting their first child.
