Christian Eyenga Moenge (born June 22, 1989) is a Congolese professional basketball player for Montakit Fuenlabrada of the Liga ACB.
Eyenga was drafted by the Cleveland Cavaliers with the 30th pick in that year's 2009 NBA draft.
When drafted, he competed for Prat, an affiliate of ACB's DKV Joventut.
Professional career
Eyenga was a member of the Cleveland Cavaliers in the 2010 NBA Summer League. He officially signed a two-year deal with the Cavaliers on July 23, 2010. He was up for $2 million over two years, with years three and four as choices. Eyenga was sent by the Cavaliers' NBA Development League affiliate, the Erie BayHawks, on November 18, a youth. He was recalled by the Cavs on January 2 and made his debut against the Dallas Mavericks on the same day. He had 4 points and 3 rebounds and had 3 rebounds.
Eyenga and Ramon Sessions were traded by the Los Angeles Lakers along with a covered first round pick in the 2012 NBA draft, Jason Kapono and Luke Walton.
Eyenga was traded to the Orlando Magic on August 10, 2012.
The Orlando Magic waived Eyenga on October 23, 2012. He was then drafted by the Texas Legends of the NBA D-League. Eyenga was released by the Legends on January 4, 2013 in China so he could move to China. After a month in China, he re-joined the Legends in February 2013.
During the 2011 NBA lockout, he signed to play for Joventut Badalona in Spain.
In January 2013, he signed with Shanxi Zhongyu of China. He left the same month and returned to America.
Eyenga left Poland and signed with Stelmet Zielona Góra on July 25, 2013. He signed a one-year contract with another Polish team Turów Zgorzelec on August 4, 2014. Eyenga was canceled by the club in September 2014. On November 12, 2014, he agreed to a one-year deal with Pallacanestro Varese, Italy's best Serie A team.
He signed with the champions of Italy, Dinamo Sassari, for the 2015–16 season on July 10, 2015. He left Dinamo Sassari in February 5th, 2016 and joined Auxilium CUS Torino for the remainder of the season.
Eyenga was signed by Pallacanestro Varese on August 16, 2016 for the 2016–17 season. He joined Unicaja, Spain, for the remainder of the 2016–17 ACB season on May 14, 2017.
