Drew Howe (pictured left and right with colleague Adam Bellis) of Widnes, Cheshire, was discovered dead in his lorry's trailer on Lincolnshire's A18 on October 19 last year. According to the Liverpool Echo, assistant coroner Chris Morris voiced doubts following Mr Howe's tales of being 'passed from pillar to post' as he tried to get assistance. Mr Howe joined the Army in 2015 and served in the Queen's Royal Hussars. He spent four years in the military before being discharged in 2019. After suffering from a "breakdown" while in the service, he reportedly received hospital treatment, and later told analysts that he was suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), as well as anxiety and depression.
