Former National Enquirer publisher David Pecker testified in Donald Trump's hush money trial this week about the tabloid's 'catch and kill' practices. A former staffer who worked at the tabloid for more than 20 years told DailyMail.com about the lengths the tabloid would go to for a story. Kristen Hentschel, who formerly went by the name Kristyn Caddell, had at least three times tried to 'trip up Florida legislators whose environmental laws were in conflict with Matrix LLC's interests, according to a bombshell study by NPR and Floodlight. Matrix has been accused of more recent conduct against writers and environmental campaigners. According to NPR, if she was covering these stories for ABC News, she was not allowed to cover them.' It's not clear if Hentschel is still working by ABC.
