Chloe Hawthorn Life

Chloe Charlotte Hawthorn (born 17 August 2002) is a British child actor best known for her appearance in Matilda the Musical, which she performed with Lucy-Mae Beacock, Hayley Canham, Elise Blake, Cristina Fray, and Lara Wollington. She also attended several musical theatre workshops at Spirit Young Performers Company, including Chloe Matthew Hawthorn, born 17 August 17, 2002.

Hawthorn appeared in the original cast of The Wizard of Oz's West End production and was included in the film.

Hawthorn took over as Matilda the Musical's director in August 2012, replacing Cleo Demetriou, Jade Marner, Isobelle Molloy, and Eleanor Worthington Cox.

Chloe, alongside her classmates on Matilda's, became judges on the CBBC and BBC One programme, Junior Masterchef.

Hawthorn completed her Matilda run on September 1, 2013, and she received the Mousetrap Award for Best Actress, as one of the youngest people to win the award.

She was also nominated for an Olivier alongside her fellow cast members, and she was also featured in the Oliviers 2013 film alongside Lara Wollington, Elise Blake, and Cristina Fray.

Hawthorn returned to The BFG in 2014, playing Sophie alongside Madeleine Haynes and Lara Wollington, and ended her tenure in early 2015, which included recording a voiceover for Free Radio advertising.

After attending several workshops that have received millions of views on Youtube and Facebook, Hawthorn revealed that she would join Spirit Young Performers Company in April 2016. Alexandre Aja produced her debut film in Campfire Creepers, Spain, where she was joined by Robert Englund in the cast.

It's the first ever Virtual Reality 360 horror movie to be released on the Oculus Store in October 2017. Hawthorn appeared in a Sainsburys Valentines TV Advert alongside Sonnyboy Skelton.

Early life

Hawthorn was born in Essex and now lives in Essex. She used to attend Beverly Marks Stage School's dance lessons. She was a member of the Spirit Young Performers Company, where she studied in musical theatre. Chloe is currently studying Musical Theatre at the University of Cambridge.

Hawthorn was in the original cast of the West End production of The Wizard of Oz and was featured in the original cast recording. In August 2012, Hawthorn landed the role of Matilda in Matilda the Musical, taking over from Cleo Demetriou, Jade Marner, Isobelle Molloy and Eleanor Worthington Cox. In her run, Chloe, alongside her fellow Matilda's, became judges on the CBBC and BBC One programme, Junior Masterchef. Hawthorn performed with the cast at the 100th Royal Variety Performance where she performed part of the song "Naughty" and also met the Queen and Prince Philip. She then won the Mousetrap Award for Outstanding Female Performance for her portrayal, becoming one of the youngest people to win the award. She was also nominated for an Olivier Award, alongside her fellow cast members, and was featured in the Oliviers 2013 performance alongside Lara Wollington, Elise Blake and Cristina Fray. Hawthorn finished her run in Matilda on 1 September 2013.

Hawthorn then joined the cast of The BFG landing the lead role of Sophie in 2014 at the Birmingham Repertory Theatre alongside Madeleine Haynes and Lara Wollington, finishing her run in early 2015. In April 2016, Hawthorn announced that she would be joining Spirit Young Performers Company, after attending many workshops, that have received millions of views online and on YouTube.
