Carolyn Lee Hennesy (born June 10, 1962) is an American actress, writer, and animal advocate who is best known for her appearances on film and television.
Hennesy's early career consisted of guest appearances and appearances in films and television films, including Dark Justice and In Death Upon a Killer Bee Nightmare.
When she was first introduced in Dawson's Creek as a recurring character, she came to fame.

Hennesy is the niece of actress Barbara Rush and Claudia Cowan's cousin. She lives in Los Angeles. Hennesy married Donald Agnelli in 2007. In 2013, the two couples divorced. She is a trapeze artist, a skill she displayed during a 2015 episode of Jessie. She has two brothers, one of whom, Scott Hennesy, works at Disney as an imagineer.

Hennesy appeared on Dawson's Creek in the 2000–2001 season, and she appeared in the films Global Effect (2002), White and Blonde (2004), The Heat Chamber (2003) and Cougar Club (2006). Van's mother, Reba's son-in-law, appeared on That '70s Show three times and has guest-starred on Reba as the mother of Reba's son-in-law.
