Die-hard New York Knicks fan Ben Stiller headlined celebrity row as he was joined by several other stars to watch New York play in the postseason against the Philadelphia 76ers at Madison Square Garden on Tuesday night. Carmelo Anthony, Julianne Moore, Tracee Ellis Ross, Sting, Dave East, and Offset, Jon Stewart, and Tracy Morgan were all spotted courtside for Game 5 of the Eastern Conference first-round matchup in Midtown Manhattan. Knicks fans, not famous and celebrity, were out in full force as they had a chance to eliminate Joel Embiid, Tyrese Maxey and the rest of Philadelphia from the NBA playoffs. 

The New York Knicks failed to close out a opening playoff series win Tuesday after the Philadelphia 76ers' comeback win in Game 5.  The Knicks had the chance to seal a spot in the Eastern Conference semifinals for a second consecutive year as they hosted the Sixers in front of a celebrity filled Madison Square Garden and were seconds away from doing so.  However, Tyrese Maxey came up clutch for Philadelphia as his game-tying three from the logo in the dying seconds of regulation forced the game into a dramatic overtime finish. 

Early in the Spartans' opening game against Mississippi State on Thursday, observant fans noticed the mishap early. The Spartan helmet logo was facing forward on the left leg and a Spartan pattern ran down the right side of the jersey in Michigan State's shorts. Fans of the show blasted Hoggard's helmet facing back on his right leg as he entered seconds. An eagle-eyed viewer commented, 'I think AJ Hoggard's shorts are on backwards.'

Russell Westbrook's wife has slammed ESPN for a study that said that the former Lakers actor was a "vampire" in the locker room. After a reporter named the former MVP as the fictional figure, Lakers reporter Dace McMenamin enraged Westbrook.
