Candice Lauren Isralow, a child of Hauppauge, New York, began taking piano lessons for a few years. At 12 years old, she began modeling as "Candice Loren" and started modeling as "Candice Loren." She appeared in everything from newspaper ads to print ads, and even promoted products at trade shows up until her 20s. Night performed her own radio show on Long Island's rock music radio station, as well as a course in communications at the New York Institute of Technology, where she studied communications. She is Jewish.
She was once a Rainbow fan, so she called Ritchie Blackmore to ask for an autograph in 1989. They talked about ghosts, music, travel, history, and philosophy, and then lived together from 1991 to 1991. In 1993's European tour of Deep Purple, she provided vocal support on the instrumental track "Difficult to Cure." She also provided backing vocals on "Ariel," "Black Masquerade," "Wolf to the Moon," and "Hall of the Mountain King" for Stranger in Us All," Rainbow's CD, as well as authoring lyrics for the four songs on the aforementioned album. Despite being inexperienced as a professional lead singer, Blackmore encouraged her to become her musical partner. She later wrote lyrics for the majority of the songs on Blackmore's Night album, Shadow of the Moon, where she provided lead vocals. These songs were written with her voice in mind.
Night has written "Now and Then" on Under a Violet Moon (1999) and "3 Black Crows" and "Ivory Tower" on Ghost of a Rose (2003). She continues to write all the lyrics for the Blackmore's Night songs, as well as nine renaissance and medieval instruments.
Since then, she has been recognized gold and other accolades for Blackmore's Night's music, as well as international recognition of the group's music. Secret Voyage, a Voyage company that came out in 2008, ranked No. 1 in the United States. 1 on the new-age Billboard Charts and stayed there for four weeks before finishing in the top ten for a further 14 weeks. She continues to be involved in music, performing on CDs and live, writing lyrics, performing, and playing medieval instruments: shawm, cornamuse, rauschtle, and chanters.
In 2006 Night, she performed on Helloween's "Light the Universe" song from their Keeper of the Seven Keys: The Legacy album, as well as In Helloween's music video for the track.
She appeared in Oria's rock opera Story of Aina, with Sass Jordan and Glenn Hughes. Tarja Turunen, Nightwish and Sabine Edelsbacher from Edenbridge, performed three songs on the Beto Vázquez album Infinity. In Jim Carney's December 2008 film Yes Man, the Blackmore's Night song "Old Mill Inn" was performed.

These parks now have a network throughout the United States. She was also Faerie Queen for two years, appearing on the front page in spring 2007, and performing at the Faerie Festivals around the country.
Night is also known for her charitable contributions to animal rights. During the 11 years of Blackmore's Night's existence, the pair has raised enough funds for the World Wide Fund for Nature to plant 6,000 fruit trees in Borneo for the orangutan habitat; Save the Badgers in Germany; local animal charities in the United States; and the North Shore Animal League; and Save The Pets. They've also donated portions of the proceeds of CD sales to the Red Cross of Eastern Europe to help the flood victims; CO2OL has been donated to Panama to plant trees to reduce the pollution that their concerts can produce; UNICEF has been donated to UNICEF.
