Brianne Howey is an American actress who made her debut television appearance as Stacey on 90210, a teen drama series. She is known for her roles like playing Kat Rance in the Fox supernatural horror The Exorcist, Georgia Miller in the Netflix dramedy Ginny & Georgia, Shauna Babcock in the Fox thriller The Passage, Scarlet in the British sitcom I Live with Models, and Reagan in The CW superhero drama Batwoman. In addition to that, Howey has also been cast in films such as Horrible Bosses 2, Time Trap, XOXO, Little Bitches, and Viral.

Early life

Brianne Howey was brought up in Pasadena, California to her young and single mother, whom she later took inspiration from in her role as Georgia, and is the oldest of five siblings. She attended an all girls’ Catholic high school in Pasadena, where she joined the improv team. She continued her acting education and studied theatre at New York University Tisch School of the Arts. During her time as a student, she starred in the short films Party Favors in 2008, Appropriate Sex in 2009, and Suckerpunch in 2010.

When she first appeared on 90210 while attending NYU, she had a first TV presence. Howey appeared in Twisted Tales in 2013.

Brianne appeared in Horrible Bosses 2 as Candy alongside Jason Bateman in 2014. Brianne travelled to London in 2015 to film her first regular starring role in the British television series I Live with Models. Howey landed Kat Rance's role in the television series The Exorcist, the sister of the possessed girl played by Hannah Kasulka. In Justin Cronin's The Passage, Howey appeared as Shauna Babcock, a "Viral." Howey appeared in the romantic comedy Plus One last year.

Howey attracted even more notice because she played Georgia in Netflix's hit "Ginny & Georgia" as Georgia. The series was released on February 24, 2021, and it quickly became popular, attracting 52 million viewers on Netflix. On April 19, 2021, the show was revived for a second season.
