Billy Syahputra (born 16 January 1991) is an Indonesian actor, producer, and comedian.

Syahputra had acclaim for appearing on the Trans TV television program Yuk Keep Smile.

Personal life

He is the fourth child of Nur Rachman and Nurshida's seven children. Olga Syahputra, his brother, was also a host, actor, and comedian. On March 27, 2015, Olga died of meningitis.

Career

When Syahputra's brother, Olga Syahputra, was forced to miss shooting a television show due to sickness, he began his career in entertainment. Syahputra has appeared on several comedy television programs, including Opera Van Java on Trans TV, Pesbukers on ANTV, and Dahsyat on RCTI. Syahputra started his debut film in 2013 in the horror film Taman Lawang, which had starred his brother Olga.

Syahputra had received numerous awards in entertainment, including the "Outstanding Guest Host" award at the 2014 Dahsya Awards, during his career, and he was also nominated in the "Outstanding Couple" category. He was also named for the "Most Exciting Newcomer" award at the 2014 Insert Awards, as well as Aliando Syarief and Cita Citata's, while the other nominees were Fatin Shidqia, Jenita Janet, Syahnaz Sadiqah, and Ahmad Dhani's son, Al Ghazali.

Syahputra had applied for the dangdut singing competition in Indosiar D'Academy Celebrity in 2016 and was disqualified in Top 5 positions.
