William Frederick Burr (born June 10, 1968) is an American stand-up comedian, actor, and podcaster.
He is best known for his role in the AMC crime drama series Breaking Bad (2008–2013), designing and starring in the Netflix animated sitcom F Is for Families (2015–present), and co-founding the All Things Comedy network.
Since May 2007, he has hosted The Monday Morning Podcast, a bi-weekly comedy podcast.
Early life
William Frederick Burr was born in Canton, Massachusetts, on June 10, 1968, the son of nurse Linda Ann (née Wigent) and dentist Robert Edmund Burr. He is of German and Irish descent. In 1987, he graduated from high school. He earned a bachelor's degree in radio from Emerson College in Boston, where one of his instructors, writer David Foster Wallace, was a songwriter. Before starting his comedy career, he worked in warehouses, later stating that he loved the flexibility of the job: "I could just get a forklift and just go away."
Personal life
