Tracy Lamar Davis (born April 27, 1966), better known by his stage name Big Tray Deee (formerly Tray Deee), is an American rapper who appeared on Death Row Records and later signed with Snoop Dogg's label Dogghouse Records.
Career
Davis was a member of a gang before becoming a rapper. Tray Deeee is a member of the Insane Crips Gang in Long Beach, California. Tray Deee made his first appearance on Snoop Doggy Dogg's Murder Was the Case soundtrack in 1994, guest on the album Reality Off the Doggfood album in 1995, followed by an appearance on Tha Doggfather in 1996. He founded Tha Eastsidaz, which included himself, Snoop Dogg, and Goldie Loc, and was born in 1999. The group has two albums out. Immediately after the Eastsidaz project, he was associated with the IV Life Family, a car club-street group. He later signed to IV Life Records, which is a similar recording company.
Tray Deee, a singer from 2014, declared his intention to release his debut solo album following a string of mixtapes. This is the first of these mixtapes, Long Beach State of Mind Vol. 1. On a makeshift vocal booth made from blankets and boxes in his cell, Tray Deeee's prisoner was caught on a smart phone. Tray Deee and Goldie Loc reunited with Goldie Loc on April 18 and 19 at Save Mart Center in Fresno and The Forum in Inglewood on April 18, 2014. Snoop Dogg's Mixtape That's My Work Vol. was released on July 15, Snoop Dogg's latest work Vol. Both Goldie Loc and Tray Deee appear in this four-part set. On April 27, 2015, he unveiled a single "On the Blocc" alongside official music video, and Nat Powers released a single "On the Blocc." Tray Deee has said that it is unlikely that another Eastsidaz album will be released.
