Betsy Wolfe (born Elizabeth Marie Wolfe; 1982) is an American actress and singer. Cordelia in Falsettos, Jenna Hunterson in Waitress and Rosa Bud in The Mysterious Edwin Drood, as well as her appearance in The Last Five Years as Cathy Hiatt.

Early life and education

Wolfe grew up in Visalia, California. She attended Golden West High School and graduated in 2000. In 2004, she graduated from the University of Cincinnati, College-Conservatory of Music.

Personal life

In June 2014, Wolfe started dating Adam Krauthamer, a French horn player. They met while on Bullets Over Broadway. The pair married on December 17, 2017. Poppy, Wolfe and Krauthamer's daughter, was born in May 2020.

Wolfe appeared as Cathy in The Last Five Years, an Off-Broadway revival that debuted at the Second Stage Theater from March 7, 2013 (previews), to May 18, 2013. Wolfe has "a bright, robust soprano with a keen belt," Charles Isherwood wrote in The New York Times. She is well cast, with her wholesome blond beauty.

Ellen appeared in Woody Allen's musical Bullets Over Broadway in 2014. "Betsy Wolfe has little to do as David's girlfriend Ellen, but if she does get to sing it's glorious," the CurtainUp reporter wrote.

In July 2015, she appeared in Up Here, a new musical written by Robert Lopez and Kristen Anderson-Lopez at the La Jolla Playhouse. Wolfe "is charming in her role and even sings the hell out of such banalities as "I've always known you." Variety's reviewer said.

In May 2016, Wolfe appeared in the lab version of Disney's Frozen's Frozen.
