The forward, who is out of favour at Villa Park, is expected to join LaLiga on a free transfer. He just returned from competing for Burkina Faso in the Africa Cup of Nations.

However, the attacker's £27 million bid was called off after the parties were unable to find personal terms and an acceptable payment structure for the transfer.
