Career

Jefferies started his motorsport career in Zimbabwe at the age of six, and went on to win several national championships in Zimbabwe and South Africa before moving to Europe in 2007 and 2008.

In 2009 and 2010, Jefferies contestant the Formula BMW Pacific series. He came in third overall in the 2009 season, winning two races at Sepang and Okayama, and a total of 12 podiums. In 2010, he had a limited schedule, with two victories and four podiums.

Jefferies returned to action in FIA Formula Two in 2012 after not racing for two years, posting a best of 5th in wet conditions in Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps in Belgium. He came in 12th in points.

Jefferies made his debut in the American Firestone Indy Lights series with Bryan Herta Autosport at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course in 2013 and came in seventh place. He returned to Houston two months later and placed fifth. The 2014 Jefferies finished sixth in the Indy Lights Mid Ohio Honds 200 event on Saturday and fourth in the Sunday Race.

Jefferies made his debut in GP2 in Bahrain in 2014, showing good pace in the race one but ultimately disqualified by Japanese driver Kimiya Sato and forced to retire; with Sunday's final grid positions determining Sunday's starting grid, Jefferies had to begin from the back of the grid, determining the starting grid and returning to the top of the grid, determining several positions.

In a thrilling Winter Series Round 1 held in Portimao Portugal, 2021 Axcil debuted in an LMP3 Protype with Frikadelli Motorsport Winning by over a minute and Thirty seconds to his nearest competitor.

Jefferies has embarked on a new path in motorsport in 2017 and is competing in the prestigious Lamborghini Super Trofeo Championship. Jefferies dominated the first round of Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi, winning pole position by over 0.5 seconds to his nearest competitor and winning the race by 28 seconds. Jefferies was on pole in the Pro Class again in Dubai and took both races in Dubai. Jefferies were back on pole in dominant fashion in round 5 and 6, winning both races to clinch the overall championship.

Jefferies maintained his top form in his debut in the European Lamborghini Super Trofeo Championship by achieving the fastest time in official training in Monza, Italy, on Friday. He placed 3rd overall on Saturday and Won race one, finishing second in race 2 and leaving Monza in second position, with Monza leading the way. Jefferies maintained his good form with two 3rd places finishes at Paul Ricard Circuit in France, a 3rd at Spa Francorchamps in Belgium, his second victory and 3rd at Nurburgring Circuit in Germany, a 3rd. Jefferies finished second overall in the European Championship, earning two podiums in Imola, Italy. He then placed second in the World Finals, where drivers from four continents made up a grid of 67 cars.

Jefferies has defended his Middle East Championship, this time with Konrad Motorsport, winning five podiums and establishing lap records at Abu Dhabi's Yas Marina Circuit.

Axcil Jefferies, the 2022 Dubai 24 Hour Overall Champion, after winning the Dubai 24hr in 2021 to defend his title, this time with Audi factory drivers Dries Vanthoor, Chris Mies, and Saudi driver Al Saud. Audi won his second Overall race in Dubai, becoming only the third driver to win the series consecutively.

After qualifying in one of the best fields ever to compete in Dubai 24 hours, 2021 Dubai 24 Hour Overall Winner GPX Racing, based in Dubai, selected Axcil Jefferies as a key driver and component to win the Dubai 24hour race after 14 previous attempts, and Axcil repaid the faith by driving for a total of 10.5 hours of the race for the team in Dubai. Axcils' debut in a Porsche GT3 was the 2021 Dubai 24 hours race.

2016 Dubai 24 Hours Pro/Am 6th Overall Axcil Jefferies leads the Toksport WRT team to second place in ProAM standings and sixth overall in a washed and flooded event. Axcil came in 6th overall in the Mercedes GT3 Evo, and by lap 4, he was leading the race and had a hold on P1 until the end of his tenure.

The 2019 Dubai 24 Hour Axcil Jefferies competed for the Abu Dhabi-based GPX team in Pro/AM category, finishing 6th overall and the team's debut. The transmission malfunctioned on lap 8, and the GPX team's luck was on the team as the transmission was not replaced, and no replacement gearbox was available for the team so the car was retired.

24H Endurance Series powered by Hankook

Jefferies took part in his first 24 hrs race at the Paul Ricard Circuit in France over the weekend of 6 and 7 May 2017, as part of the 24H Series, a UAE-based team GP Extreme. He was chosen by the team to pilot qualifying, and he did a good job by placing the Renault RS01 FGT3 in 4th place overall. Jefferies and his team finished fourth overall after a long fight. Jefferies completed his second 24 hours run at the Portimao Circuit in Portugal in August 2017, this time with GP Extreme in the Renault RS01. The team finished second and was in the top 3 for the first 12 hours before a mechanical failure dropped them to an eventual 8th-place finish overall.

Konrad Motorsport – 2019 VLN CHAMPIONSHIP

Nurburgring Nordschliefe, the 2022 Lap Record Holder. In the Konrad Motorsport Lamborghini GT3 EVO, Axcil Jefferies set a new lap record by 3 seconds on the NLS Nurburgring Nordschliefe configuration.

In what was a thrilling debut at the Nordshliefe, Axcil Jefferies finished a fruitful 2019 VLN championship with several podiums and top ten qualifying positions. Frank Perera, Marco Mapelli, and Mirco Bortolotti, both competed in the 6 hour and Nurburgring 24 Hour race.

Konrad Motorsport: Axcil Jefferies spent his second full year in the VLN Championship as the lead driver in the Konrad Motorsport Lamborghini. In the Nurburgring 24hr, the team finished with three podiums and qualified 6th overall, with Axcil Jefferies behind the wheel.

2021 Konrad Motorsport: Axcil Jefferies completed his 3rd year with the NLS CHAMPIONSHIP (previously VLN) in 2021. With the Konrad Motorsport Lamborghini on Pole position in the wet Pri final and then 2nd Overall in the Nurburgring 24hrs, the Nurburgring Nordschliefe Axcil has established himself as one of the fastest drivers in both wet and dry conditions, earning him a top finish in the NLS Championship running the season with two podiums.

COTA 24 hours race

The Mercedes AMG GT3 race in Austin Texas (COTA24HRS) in November 2019 Axcil took the 24 hours race with Toksport Motorsport. With the Black Falcon Mercedes AMG GT3's 2nd position and fought for the lead for 22 hours, the team lost 5 laps and finished fifth overall, despite a mechanical failure.

Dubai 24 hour race

Axcil Jefferies took the wheel of the Toksport Mercedes AMG GT3 for the Dubai 24 hour race in January 2020, setting a high start. In one of the most competitive GT3 driver line ups, only Pro driver in the number 70 Toksport Axcil was chosen to qualify. He started in position 8 with just 0.4 seconds between the top ten cars. With spectacular racecraft to hand over the car to Martin Konrad in P3. In class, the final classification was P2 in class.

Axcil made his debut in the GT WORLD CHALLENGE EUROPE in the Silver Catorgary with a newcomer team, Madpanda Motorsport Mercedes AMG GT3 finishing the year in 2nd position after winning podiums in every round throughout the year, despite poor results.
