Ana Patricia Martnez (née: Gámez Montes, formerly González) is a Mexican beauty queen who competed in the fourth year of Univision's beauty contest/real life television show Nuestra Latina, which took place on May 23, 2010.
Early life and pageantry
Gámez was born in Navojoa, Sonora, and competed in the national Nuestra Belleza México competition. In the 2005 edition of the festival, the eighteen-year-old represented Sonora.
A few years ago, Gámez auditioned for Nuestra Belleza Latina 2010 in Los Angeles, and was chosen to attend the reality show. She won the grand prize of US$250,000, a Univision contract, and the code "Nuestra Belleza Latina 2010, making her the second Mexican woman to win the title since Alejandra Espinoza in 2007. Alejandra, Ana Patricia, and Francisca Lachapel are currently the only winners of Nuestra Belleza Latina, and they will never be in the Bottom 2 or 3 ranked list. In 2013, she became engaged to Luis Carlos Martnez, the brother of her Despierta América co-host Karla Martnez.
