Early life
Heidi Whitworth, a young woman from Salt Lake City, Utah, was born Mount. Mount was discovered at age 12 at a Britney Spears concert with her mother and her sister. In 2007, Mount married hairstylist Shawn Mount. They separated in 2010 and divorced in 2013.
Career
Mount began her modeling career in 2000 when she was signed to Ford Models. In Yohji Yamamoto's Spring 2004 series, she made her international debut. Frankie Morello and Armani Jeans were among her campaigns from there.
Mount returned to modeling in September 2007, partnering with IMG Models, and returning to runways for the Spring 2008 season, including Shiatzy Chen, Alexander McQueen and Stella McCartney. Claudia Schiffer was consulted by Chanel as the face of the brand in Spring 2009, as well as the opening and closing of its fashion show. Alexander McQueen, ckOne, and Gap have all supported the Spring 2009 campaigns.
