Amy Fadhli (born January 30, 1965) is an American fitness model, actress, and champion of the Fitness America National Championship 1996.
Her father is an Iraqi who was born in Baghdad, a cardiovascular surgeon, and her mother is Czech, a sculptor and breeder of Arabian horses.
Life and career
She is a certified dental hygienist, and after graduating from college, she migrated to Northern California, where she first experienced serious fitness training. However, she eventually moved to Dallas and began swimming suit modeling and competing in bikini competitions, in which she gained numerous swimsuit titles and many prizes, including money and trips. She then decided to continue modelling by sending her photo and resume to the Fitness America Pageant's promoter, who then accepted her to compete in the National Championships that year. She managed to win the physique section but came in ninth overall in the pageant. She returned to compete in the first year and finished as the first runner up the following year, and shortly after that she became the Fitness America National Champion in 1996.
In addition to being a fitness model, she has appeared in many television shows, including The Young and the Restless and several others. Her work has aided her in traveling around the world, including Hong Kong, Italy, Germany, Mexico, Guam, Guatemala, Slovakia, Malaysia, and Lebanon.
