Early life and career

On April 6, 1970, Amairani was born in Mexico City, Mexico. She is the niece of actress Anabel Gutiérrez. Amairani debuted as an actress in the 1988 telenovela Dulce desafo. Laura Rivera del Villar played an antagonist in the 1992 telenovela Mágica juventud, appearing in the 1989 telenovela Simplemente Maria as Laura Rivera del Villar.

Lupita was also seen in the telenovela Más alla del puente, replacing Itati Cantoral from the prequel De frente al sol. In 1994, she appeared as an antagonist in Marimar again. La sombra del otro was her last acting role before she was fired. She went from telenovelas to being a mother of three children in 1996. She had problems since her last childbirth, including paralysis, weight gain, and extreme depression.

Amairani returned to television screens in Mujer after 11 years, casos de la vida real. She also appeared in Lola, érase une vez, Palabra de Mujer, Camaleones, and Atrévete a sor.
