Ilacad studied at Treston International College in 2021 and finished her marketing degree with a dean's lister award and a respectable general weighted average of 1.0.

When visiting the Big Brother house for Pinoy Big Brother: Kumunity Season 10, Ilacad's resident psychologist Dr. Randy Dellosa asked for the show's assistance regarding insecurities in terms of her body. Following the initial interview, it was discovered that the actress is possibly diagnosed with a major depressive disorder owing to body dysmorphia.

Career

She came to fame in 2008 when she appeared on the kiddie comedy show Goin' Bulilit. However, she was already a well-known celebrity in Philippine television as a commercial model well before that. She appeared in many television commercials for companies Vaseline shampoo, Lactum 3+, Johnson's Baby Cologne, Cheez Whiz, McDonald's Happy Meal, Jollibee Kids Meal, and many others from the age of two.

Aside from that, she was also seen in minor roles in several Filipino seryes, such as May Bukas Pa, Nasaan Ka Elisa?, A Beautiful Affair, and several episodes of Maala Mo Kaya. She has also appeared in films entitled For The First Time, The Reunion, and Amorosa: The Revenge. She first appeared on Goin' Bulilit with fellow actor Nash Aguias for the episode Goin' Bulilit Presents: In My Dreams during her stay in Goin' Bulilit.

She was introduced as a singer in the group Tweens Of Pop in 2012 alongside fellow Bulilit stars Angel Sy, Mika Dela Cruz, and Noemi Oineza. She earned her first lead film in the Philippine Cinema in October through the horror film Santigwar produced by Horseshoe Studios and Reality Entertainment. She played Hasmin, a Santigwar veteran. Hasmin's journey brought her family closer to the mystical creatures: Aswangs. Marlo Mortel, Marco Gallo, Paulo Angeles, Aubrey Miles, Michelle Liggayu, and others appear in the film along with her.

Bobbie Salazar, originally played by Bea Alonzo, appeared in the prequel to the 2013 hit Four Sisters and a Wedding, as well as the 2020 film Four Sisters Before the Wedding. Belle Mariano, Charlie Dizon, and Gillian Vicencio, two of the youngest Salazar sisters, were joined by the actresses. On Netflix Philippines and UAE, the film became the No. 1 top trending film.

She has also appeared in another Maala Mo Kaya episode Libro with Kira Balinger and Yves Flores, where she stunned viewers with her spectacular acting skills.

She joined Pinoy Big Brother: Kumunity Season 10, the tenth overall season of Pinoy Big Brother, as part of the first batch of housemates in the Celebrity Edition, after being evicted on Day 71 alongside fellow housemate KD Estrada. Her time in Bahay Kuya was particularly notable for beginning the discussion on mental health after she suffered with body dysmorphia, an altercation with fellow housemate and Init Sa Magda Magda Magda Magda, and her eventual closeness with Estrada that increased as they consoled each other from their individual episodes inside the house.

After being banned, she and Estrada began appearing together on several television shows and interviews, including IWant ASAP, Kumunity: Robi Domingo, PBB Kumu Big Arrival, where they appeared with musical legend Rico Blanco and ASAP Natin as singers/performers.' On the KUMU website, Ilacad was also chosen as the host of Quiz Mo Ko online gameshow Quiz Mo Ko from February to March, which was later extended until March.

ABS-CBN initiated a program for the victims of typhoon Odette, which culminated in 100 days of fundraising activities that started with the 10-day By Request benefit concert. The love team of KDLex, Estrada, and Ilacad was the first group of artists to perform. They had over 100,000 live viewers just from the KUMU website alone during their session.

It was revealed that they will headline a FanCon and the forthcoming Dreamscape and iWantTFC series Run To Me due to increasing success in one of the pair's ASAP Natin 'To stints (originally announced as More Than Words).

Shortly after the launch, Ilacad and Estrada hosted the online fan concert entitled Closer: The KDLex Fan Con on February 26th, just shy of the actress' 22nd birthday. According to reports, SVIP and VIP tickets for their concert sold out in just an hour and several times more immediately after being restocked due to high demand.

Paano, Ilacad's first single of the year, debuted on iTunes Philippines, ranked number one. Paano is her first self-written song to be released to the public, despite sharing and making many original songs during her time in PBB. The pair performed their first single Misteryo under Star Music, as well as the Pinoy Big Brother: When I See You Again, which the pair wrote and performed together during their time in the Big Brother House, before the KDLex show. The two singles debut as the top 100 in less than 12 hours, ranking #1 and #2 respectively.

The TNT Boys, along with KD Estrada, Antenorcruz, FANA, iDolls, Janine Berdin, JM Yosures, Jona, Anji Salvacion, Reviving Sono and the TNT Boys, were among the 2022 Presidential Elections in the Philippines, including Ilacad, Anji Salvacion, Reliven Umali, and TNT Boys, participated in the unveiling of the original version of Pag-Isi Ang Bo Ang Mo Ang Boto Mo Anga, Antenor Cruz, Antenorcruz, Janine Berdin, Abra, JMKO, Ao, JMo, Anji Salva, Reservemo, Revien Umali, Lara Mo's, Lara Mo ted, Avy's, A, Revol V.

The agency is set to launch SLAY, a new digital video magazine that honors women's beauty and power. Ilacad took over Star Magic's KUMU account on March 4th, marking the month of Women's Month. She also announced that she would be gracing the magazine's first-ever cover in the same live broadcast.

An advance screening and meet-and-greet took place ahead of SLAY's official launch. Star Magic's 30th anniversary with the back-to-back debut of its digital video magazine SLAY and the fun travel reality show HOT Summer in Baler, the Resorts World Manila's Hot Summer Festival.

In Don't Cry Janna, a 4-episode KUMUserye directed by Cathy Garcia-Molina, Ilacad and Estrada appeared as Janna Gives and Jamir Xyrus in an earlier series.

Run To Me, Dwein Baltazar's digital film, premiered on iWantTFC and KUMU in May the same year (later in Kapamilya Channel, Kapamilya Online Live, and A2Z). The series stars Ilacad and Estrada, Dreamscape Entertainment, iWantTFC, and KUMU, and KUMU's Ilacad and Estrada, Malou Crisologo, CJ Navato, Martin Gabriel, Ivan Carapiet, CJ Navato, Maty Juniosa, and Haira Palaguitto. The pair also dropped their soundtrack album, which debuted at no.1 on the local iTunes charts, as a result of the series. Hiwaga's official soundtrack album debuted at the top of the local album charts, with five of its songs debuting in the top ten songs chart, followed by Palagi at second, Kasi, Kung, Kahit at 3rd, and When I See You Again at 5th place. Both When I See You Again and Misteryo also placed 6th and 8th respectively in their single versions. In summation, seven of the top ten songs on iTunes Philippines at the time were from the two countries.

Star Magic toured in the United States in August as part of their 30th anniversary celebrations. The actresses of the performances, Ilacad, were among the actors who staged the performances. The artists appeared in the Newport Performing Arts Theatre, Resorts World Manila, before the US shows in Kings Theater, Brooklyn, The Warfield, San Francisco, and the Saban Theatre, Beverly Hills.
