Alex Gonzalez Life

Alejandro González Trujillo (born February 24, 1969, Miami, United States) is an American musician of Cuban and Colombian descent.

He is a member, drummer, and songwriter for the Mexican band Maná and metal band De La Tierra.

He has been dubbed "El Animal" by the singer and has sung lead vocals on several albums, including "Me Vale."

Alex discovered his love for playing the drums at the age of 5 when he was spotted by a kindergarten teacher who gave him a red sparkle drumkit.

Alex took to the instrument seriously and became a coach soon after. The album Dónde Jugarán Los Nios?, which was certified gold in the United States, was released in 1992.mangoz wrote about him.

They began playing in the United States in 1993 and inspired other bands who were influenced by their popularity to play in the United States.

"I think it's amazing that Spanish language bands like ours can now sell millions of albums and sell out arenas in the United States," Alex says. Modern Drummer Magazine, Drummerworld, Drum, and others have all praised his talent.

He plays exclusively with DW Drums (formerly used Pearl Drums), Remo, Paiste, and Vic Firth.
