Early life
She was born in a tiny town, 300 kilometers north of Stockholm, and was a little girl. She was a fan of handball, badminton, and track-and-field athletics as a child, but it was most of all she was in love with theatre. She attended a 'Slingerbultarna' company with her colleagues and appeared in various local theatre revues. Her passion for theatre culminated in her relocation to Sweden's capital, but she returns to her roots roots there at times.
She studied theatre in Stockholm and then worked in a cafe in 1985. She migrated to Göteborg, 1990-1991, where she worked in lighting technology at Stadsteatern. In 1991, she debuted in a television show "Tur i Kärlek" (Boys in love). Maja, her daughter, was born in 1999. They have a close and personal relationship.
