Born 10 May 1988) is an English professional footballer who competes as an attacking midfielder for Premier League clubs Liverpool and England's national team. Lallana began his youth with AFC Bournemouth before moving to Southampton in 2000, where he excelled in their academy and became a professional in 2006.He made a quick loan back to Bournemouth before moving to Southampton's first team, winning two promotions from League One to the Premier League, including captain in 2012.
He joined Liverpool in July 2014 for two seasons in the top flight and an international breakthrough.

Early life

Club career
Lallana was spotted by a talent scout from Southampton as a member of the AFC Bournemouth Centre of Excellence, where he was discovered by a talent scout from Southampton. In September 2000, he joined the Premier League academy as a 12-year-old. Southampton paid Bournemouth £3,000 in damages as he committed scholarship and professional services respectively.
