Ben Affleck, also known as Benjamin Géza Affleck-Boldt, is an American film actor, director, screenwriter, and film producer. He grew up in Massachusetts after being born on August 15, 1972, in Berkeley, California. He began acting at a young age appearing in television series such as The Voyage of The Mimi and The Second Voyage of The Mimi. His first major movie was school ties, Goodwill Hunting (1997), a drama starring Matt Damon, a genius mathematician who works as a janitor, and Affleck as his best friend. The film also starred Casey Affleck. 

The film was a commercial and critical hit garnering nine nominations for Academy Award, with Affleck taking home the Oscar Award for Best Original screen acting. He got very famous for Goodwill Hunting. Batman, played by Ben Affleck, is the most physically threatening live-action Crusader we've ever seen. People have always praised Affleck for starring his Batman. On August 15, 1972, Ben Affleck was born in Berkeley, California, to Timothy Byers Affleck and Christopher Anne "Chris" Boldt. Chris was a school teacher with a Harvard degree. And Timothy worked as a mechanic, Carpenter, bookmaker, electrician, waiter, and janitor at Harvard.

In the mid-1960s, he worked as an actor and stage manager with The Boston Theatre Company. The family relocated to Cambridge, Massachusetts. His father was addicted to alcohol and lived in the rehabilitation facility for twelve years.

In 1980 for the pair to divorce, Ben and Cassey stayed with their mother. Adult Affleck kept in touch with his father. His mother sent him and his brother to the cinema daily, which inspired them to make short films. Thanks to his mother's relationship with a casting agent, the brothers were able to apply for advertisements and film productions. Affleck began acting when he was seven years old. His mother wished for Affleck to become a teacher because she believed acting was a risky profession. Affleck spent time exploring with his mother and brother.

Affleck learned Spanish at the University of Vermont. He dropped out of university with no grades. He moved to Los Angeles to study Middle Eastern Relations at Occidental College. Affleck also fell out after an instructor refused to consider his script draft.

When he was 13, Affleck shot a TV show in Mexico where he learned Spanish as a talented kid. During his youth, Affleck was a good actor.

At the age of seven, he made his acting debut in the local film directed by a family friend. In 1984, he made his first appearance as a child actor in the children's series The Voyage of The Mimi. Later on, he was in Mimi's Second Voyage in 1988. Both films were aimed at students in grades six and seven. In pursuit of acting gigs, Affleck relocated to New York. When attending Occidental College in Los Angeles, Affleck directed student films. In 1991, he played Patrick Duffy's son in the television movie Daddy, and in 1992, he played a basketball player in Buffy The Vampire Slayer. He also appeared in the 1993 television series Against The Grain.

He continued to act in 1994 in "Body to Die For The Aaron Henry Story," and in 1993, "Dazed and Confused." In 2003 Affleck's relationship with Jennifer attracted a lot of public coverage. Any of his film productions received negative reviews. From 2005 to 2006, Affleck took a break from acting. In 2006, he returned to the stage with a critically praised appearance in Peter Travers of the Rolling Stones and got the award of the Volpi Cup at The Venice Film Festival. He was nominated for a Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actor. He also has a long list of other films to his name. In 2007, Affleck made his directorial debut with the film Gone Baby Gone. The feedback was positive. He appeared in three films in 2009. After that, he directed the crime dramas "The Town and Argo."  Argo was nominated for an Academy Award and a Golden Globe Award.
