A young T-Rex named Buddy and his adopted Pteranodon family take the Dinosaur Train to explore his time period. The American/Canadian/Singaporean series was produced by the Jim Henson Company.

The show was created by Craig Bartlett, the same mind that created other children's series such as Hey Arnold! and Ready Jet Go! Segments on the series included "Time for a Tiny Ditty," "Buddy has a Hypothesis" and "Dr. Scott the Paleontologist."
