Robin Williams' daughter has described the use of AI to recreate her late father's voice as "personally troubling" as she calls for tighter limits on its usage. Zelda Williams was one of the main talking points in the continuing conflict between the Screen Actors Guild (SAG) and Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers (AMPTP). In honor of the Mrs Doubtfire star's birthday this year, the 34-year-old said her father would have been 'fighting the good fight.' In an Instagram post, Zelda said, 'I've been watching for years how many people want to train these [AI] models to produce/recreate actors who can't give consent, like Dad.' "I've already heard AI used to get his "voice" to say what people want, and although I find it personally troubling, the ramifications go well beyond my own personal beliefs."
