Zachary Brendan McGowan (born May 5, 1980) is an American film and television actor as well as a voice-over artist.
Jody, Agents of S.H.I.L.D., is best known for his role in television series Shameless as Jody, Jody. Anton Ivanov/The Superior, Black Sails as Charles Vane, and The 100 as Roan.

Career
McGowan appeared on Showtime as Jody for two years, first as a guest star (Season 2) and later as a series regular (Season 3). On January 8, 2012, season two premiered. He said that modeling for art students prepared him for the position, and that "nudity is just part of the job."
McGowan appeared in Dracula Untold, a mysterious Romani, in July 2013.
McGowan appeared in Black Sails' dramatic adventure television series in January 2014, playing a fictionalized adaptation of English pirate Charles Vane's true story. The role called for an English actor, but McGowan, an American, had a peculiar accent. McGowan was faking, but casting directors were impressed with his results and picked him for the role.
After having appeared on The CW science fiction television series The 100, McGowan played King Roan of the Ice Country for three years.
