Life and career

When Grenier's father was working as a sound engineer at WBNX in the Bronx in the late 1930s, he learned of him.

He appeared on C-16 from 1997 to 1998 as a regular cast member.

Carl Webb, the gambler who brought the disease to town on Deadwood, appeared in several episodes of Law & Order, and he appeared in the first season of television show 24 as Sam Cramed. He appeared on film in Fight Club and Mel Nicolai in Zodiac, both David Fincher films. Sid Greenberg, a finance guru in the 1988 film Talk Radio, appeared in the original script. Eddie, Dr. Jonas Miller's assistant, appeared in the film Twister. In Tommy Boy, he played Mr. Reilly, one of the Callahan Auto Parts associates. He appeared as a marriage counselor in Donnie Brasco. In a 2006 horror film Pulse, he appeared as Professor Cardiff.

In 2009, he appeared on Broadway opposite Jane Fonda in 33 Variations, earning him a Tony Award nomination.

David Lee, a senior prosecutor, was first cast on the television show The Good Wife in 2010, a role that soon became part of the recurring ensemble. In September 2013, he was promoted to series regular at the start of the fifth season.
