In comparison to new seasons of The Diplomat, Empress, and Bridgerton, Netflix has revealed that the second season of smash-hit Squid Game will premiere this year. Despite last year's strikes pushing back the debut of some titles, Netflix told investors in a letter that 'we have a robust, rich slate for 2024.' Squid Game first appeared on Netflix in 2021 on September 17, 2021, and it quickly became a pop culture hit en route to becoming the company's most watched series in history.
