According to the Vineyard Gazette, a group of influential Democratic fundraisers and actor Wendell Pierce will host 'A Grassroots Reception.' Tickets range from $50 to $10,000. Martha's Vineyard is known as a playground for the wealthy and famous. Both Barack and Michelle Obama have their own home in the United States. Pierce, a long-serving television and film actor, appeared on Suits with Meghan Markle, where he portrayed her character's father.

On Tuesday, an unidentified woman, who many theatergoers said was under influence, disrupted Act 2 of Death of a Salesman. During the first half, the woman was allegedly loud and tumultuous. Her husband advised her to leave during intermission, but as Act 2 began, she began screaming and refusing to leave. Wendell Pierce, the lead actor, debating their money back to the couple. The couple were led out of the theater by the NYPD, but she was not arrested.
