He is best known for his collaborations with Sean Paul, Elephant Man, and Beenie Man.

Tami Chynn married fellow reggae/dancehall artiste Tami Chynn in 2009. Marshall Law, Wayne Marshall's debut solo album, was released by VP Records in 2003.

Marshall's dancehall music was praised by the reviewers for his strong hip-hop influences.

Fruitopia was out in the first year, and Tru Story!, a Federation Sound-based music compilation, was followed in 2008 by hundreds of 7" singles, most on VP Records.

"Messing With My Heart," Marshall's third album's third album, "Messing With My Heart," starring Mavado, was released in November 2010.

Marshall co-produced "Streets So Warm," his third single from his 2011 album Watch Me Dance, alongside British singer Toddla T. He made "Jamaican Mannaz" for the Damian Marley-produced album in 2013, which will be released in January 2014 as a follow-up to the British R&B singer of the same name.

In the mid 1990s, the former had entries in the UK Singles Chart with such raunchy numbers as "Ooh Aah (G-Spot)" and "Never Knew Love Like This" (Pauline Henry starring Wayne Marshall).
