Marine whose wife and daughter were killed in crash with Dem Senator slams police for lack of action
www.dailymail.co.uk,
February 8, 2023
Brandon Fink said at the time of the shooting that he was afraid Bewley, 70, would not be charged with the horrific tragedy, which killed his five-year-old daughter and her mother. She had cataract eye surgery the day before the tragedy, when she walked out of the Maslowski beach parking lot and straight into Ortman's car at 12.30 p.m. Ortman's car spun down the highway before being hit by Jodi Munson, 45, in another vehicle. At the hospital, Little Khali was declared dead, while her mother, Alyssa Ortman, 27, was taken to a nearby hospital, where she later died. The heartbroken marine is now urging judges and cops to do something nearly seven months after the deadly crash, although no criminal charges have been filed. Fink says police refuse to tell him that a Senator was even involved in the shooting, accusing him of being told by a relative four days after his daughter's death, Khaleesi. In October, he brought a wrongful death lawsuit against his daughter, who said Bewley was his 'buddy buddy' with cops and firemen after the incident.
