Oliver Zipse (pictured), the German carmaker's chief executive, said that plans to outlaw combustion engine vehicles could place more pressure on businesses that are already struggling to compete. Zipse is one of a number of business executives who have questioned the timeframe for phasing out petrol and diesel cars in the hopes of moving drivers toward electric vehicles.
