Funny how things come full circle! Working on swagger_appletv and talking with creator rockthefilm, I realized we worked before! He was one of the producers/writers of #newyorkundercover: a show I booked right when I started college in the city. This episode was about a cover girl who’s face gets slashed after a show. Horrific. This is a classic 90s opening in a classic 90s show. With character names like Mizek Rezami ( Issac Mizrahi) and Don Casaloma (John Casablanca) so no one got sued! And my character name “Teen Cover Girl”. 😂. #nataliechaidez, who wrote this episode, is now producing her own shows as well. I acted mostly with malikyoba and lunalaurenvelez who were fun and sweet; and the very kind ksloken, who played my nemesis; as well as the lovely #janetzarish, who played my mom! naomi #patrickewing and #silk were also in this episode!🤯This is one of two times I walked the catwalk! And that’s my own Victoria Secret 90s bra in the scene! 😂 #backintheday #90sfashion #90stvshows

I stared at her Physical album for hours while listening to it; and I imagined I was roller skating into a mural like her; since the exact same mural from Xanadu was in Venice, California, right down the street from where I was born. (I also couldn’t believe she had a number with my first crush ever #genekelly in that movie). I had the opportunity to hear her sing in person at a fundraiser for friends of mine, who lost their daughter at a young age to cancer—all the while battling her own! She had an amazing ability to be innocently sensual! She was Magic and made everyone feel the same! therealonj “Have to believe we are magic”!

Thanks to todayshow Extra for reminding us that in a few days it’ll be 29 years (!) since the release of #hocuspocus. You guys still love it! Happy to have this reunion with my faves dankster_omz jasonmarsden (via zoom) and reminiscing. #todayshowextra. Clip of the show is in my stories. I couldn’t figure out how to do it in this post without the format getting all weird! 🤷‍♀️ Shows how often I post! 😂

Took Mom to see this amazing show. Went into it blindly, not knowing what it was about. (I seriously think I’ve been living under a Mom Rock!) Well, luckily we took this pic before the show, cuz we were a wreck afterwards. Tear stains on my glasses and my mask! Such a moving show. Raw performances by the actors. For some, it was their debut. Kudos to the casting; casting the different person because they were right for the role…If we could all see this show, we could do some collective grieving and leave with hope.
