As part of the 2023 Travellers' Choice 'Best of the Best' Restaurants Awards, Bougainville's renowned algorithm selects the millions of reviews and ratings collected in a year from travelers around the world, the restaurant has been named as the world's best fine-dining establishment. Ise Sueyoshi, a district of Tokyo, is the second-best restaurant in the global rankings, followed by the Old Stamp House Restaurant in the Lake District, ranked third, making it the top-ranking UK restaurant.
